Incredible.
A Western Electric A1 in amazing original condidtion. This is an early prototype version as evidenced by the D76869 stamp on the stem of the phone.
This phone is in incredible shape and is sporting its original paint. This phone is also highlighted by some other rarities. In addition to the prototype base this phone comes with an original Western Electric 2HB dial with a perfect red alphanumeric dial plate. This is the elusive 132 nothless dial plate. The dial has been cleaned, lubricated and timed to operate flawlessly. The handset is a much sought after early edition E1. Both the handle and caps are the seamless version. The handset is topped off with a bullet transmitter. The original cloth handset cord and felt on the bottom are free of tears or rips of any kind.
