Western Electric 534 Sidetone Subset

Western Electric 534 Sidetone Subset used circa 1918-30. This original metal subset would have been connected to phones such as the Model 51 Candlestick, or sidetone versions of the A, B, C, or D handset mountings. The subset contains the coil, condensor, and ringer that are required to make these phones function, and it would have been mounted on the wall close to the floor. The telephone line runs into the subset, and a cord runs from the subset to the telephone.
In order to connect the 534 subset to your sidetone phone, you will require a 3 conductor subset cord.
