Through the years Northern Electric made many different phones, but perhaps none is a distinctive as the Uniphone series that was manufactuered in the 1940s and 50s. The classic pyramidal lines of this unique telephone make instantly identifiable, and allow it to fit easily into your period decorating scheme.

This Uniphone is an original Northern Electric No 2 wall phone that is fully compatible with modern telephone systems. To really showcase the lines of this phone we have refinished it in Ivory.The phone has been completely disassembled, carefully stripped, and then expertly refinished with a beautiful ivory high gloss finish. A new matching ivory cloth covered handset cord has been added, and the phone has be fitted with a classic matching cloth covered modular line cord to facilitate connection to your wall jack. The dial is complimented by a matching ivory fingerwheel. The No 5 dial has been cleaned and timed and is ready to give another 50 years of faithful service.The bakelite handset has been professionally painted using the very same materials and procedures implemented by the original phone companies of yesteryear.

This classic piece of Canadian history carries a full 1 year parts and labour warranty subject to our standard terms and conditions.
